Drs. Kurtzman and Mahler welcome you to Comprehensive Mobile Dental Care. Dr. Kurtzman had more than 47 years of private dental practice in Santa Monica and was the founder and first coordinator of a mobile dental program at UCLA. He also earned a doctoral degree in public health and taught at the UCLA Dental School for 25 years. Through his work with patients who are home-bound, Dr. Kurtzman concluded that these special needs patients face unnecessary physical and emotional trauma when traveling to, and having dental work in, a traditional dental office.

Recognizing the multiple benefits of treating these patients at home, keeping them comfortable and in familiar surroundings, and avoiding the stress and strain of a tiring trip, Dr. Kurtzman began a mobile dental practice, Comprehensive Mobile Dental Care, and a few years later, Dr. Gabrielle Mahler became associated with the practice.

Dr. Mahler brings additional skills and experience to the practice. She treated special needs patients in the New York area for over 10 years. In addition, her participation allows us to increase our service areas and to see most patients with acute needs within 24 hours of the time we are first contacted.

Comprehensive Mobile Dental Care utilizes state-of-the-art portable dental equipment. We can perform any dental procedure at a residence or bedside that can be done in a traditional dental office. Our treatment plans are coordinated with your family and our patients' medical professionals in order to coordinate medical and dental care.
